All applicants MUST:
• Be reliable and have positive work ethic.
• Have a minimum of 16 qualifying semester credits to qualify as an Assistant Teacher under MN Rule 3.
• Be able to work full-time (about 40 hours/week).
• Have a passion for working with children!
*Previous childcare experience is preferred but not required.

New Horizon Academy Eagan is located conveniently in Eagan, Minnesota off of Cliff Road, Cedar Avenue, and Interstate 35E. We have been serving families in Eagan with quality childcare and early education services since 2016. Our school has two infant daycare rooms, two toddler daycare rooms, three preschool rooms, one pre-kindergarten room, and one school-age room for our before and after school program. At our Eagan childcare, we use a comprehensive curriculum that includes character development, STEAM, literacy, motor skills, and more, all with an emphasis on building confident and excited learners. Our Eagan daycare center is open Monday-Friday every day with the exception of nine holidays:
*On Christmas Eve, New Horizon Academy closes at 3:00 p.m.
*If one of these holidays falls on a weekend, it will be observed on either Friday or Monday.
*Our school will remain open during inclement weather to ensure children still have access to quality childcare.
Yes! At New Horizon Academy Eagan (Erin Lane), we have an on-site cook trained in nutrition, USDA guidelines, and proper portions for young children. Our school provides nutritious and nourishing meals every day including breakfast, lunch, and snack. All meals are included in the cost of tuition.
If your child has a special nutritional need, a food allergy, or requires adaptation to our menu, please alert our school director, and we will partner with your family to create a suitable meal plan.
