Proudly Serving the Bloomington Community for over 24 years

Our award-winning child care center is conveniently located off of Highway 494 and France Ave in the heart of Bloomington, MN. Since opening our doors in 1990, we have earned a reputation of preparing children for success in the many area elementary schools. With our convenient location and open door policy, we are a perfect choice for parents who work or live in the 494/France area. We encourage parents to visit anytime, take their child to lunch or join us for a special celebration.

Our child care center was renovated top to bottom in 2013, and we are very proud of our fresh, colorful classrooms. We have two infant rooms, two toddler rooms, four preschool rooms, and one school- age room. We currently offer enrichment programs in music and Spanish. Our grassy, fenced outdoor playground features large climbing structures, garden boxes and plenty of riding toys. We utilize an electronic tool for communication that allows us to stay connected with families throughout the day in all our classrooms. We are a NAEYC accredited child care center and hold the highest rating - four stars - from MN Parent Aware.

We provide before and after school transportation to the following elementary schools in the area:
• Poplar Bridge Elementary

“My daughter has been very happy at New Horizons MN Center. We can tell that she is loved by her teachers. We feel so blessed to have such a safe place for her to go to everyday with people that care about her. Since the first day, she has adapted well, interacting with other kids -- which has helped her become a very social little butterfly. We do appreciate all the hard work - Thanks to everyone!”

“My son was shy in groups and with people he does not know. Since he started at New Horizon we have seen him become more talkative in groups and around people he is not familiar with. His language has progressed and it is amazing to see how excited he gets when we tell him it is time to go to school!”

“The experience you get everyday from everyone at New Horizon Academy MN Center is amazing!”

“Everyday our daughter loves going to New Horizon Academy MN-Center. I appreciate that she is always greeted with a hug and personal attention when she arrives.”
