Accounts Receivable Specialist

POSITION OVERVIEW

This position is full-time, non-exempt/hourly, and is located primarily at the corporate office in Plymouth, MN. This person is directly accountable to the Department Supervisor and the CFO. This person is responsible for maintaining Procare, county billing records, and collection support for each assigned school.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Records

  • Establish and maintain a complete record system for each school’s:
    • Authorizations
    • Bills
    • Payments
    • Procare notes
    • Accounts Receivable Aging
    • Third Party Funding
    • Collection Records

Responsibilities

  • Review your designated Procare books each week for accuracy completing each by end of day on Fridays:
    • Tie out with deposits
    • Check charges:
    • Private pay
    • County assistance
    • Employee children

• Keep accurate enrollment counts
• Report pay-or-go balances according to policies
• Check that new adds are set up correctly
• Help adjust ledgers as needed
• Help directors with any questions (It is expected that you will help each director and treat each director equally)
• Perform all tasks of County Billing including management of aging.
• Perform collection duties as needed and report to supervisor about unpaid accounts.

Teamwork

  • Communicate with all team members and help one another in times of need
  • Relay information to District Managers on a regular basis regarding Procare and billings of individual schools
  • Support directors with Procare and billing questions
  • Participate in staff meetings
  • Be respectful of all
  • Bring a positive attitude and have fun
  • Additional duties as assigned by the Department Supervisor or CFO

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma.
  • Demonstrated administrative abilities with over 2 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain productive business relationships.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Aptitude for numbers.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Computer skills.
  • Highly detailed and organized.

         

        COMPENSATION and BENEFITS:

        • Annual Salary: $21-23/hour
        • Bonus potential: Up to $1,000/year (paid out quarterly)
