At New Horizon Academy, we understand how busy you are, so for your family’s convenience, we work with outside companies to provide optional enrichment programs so that you don’t have to spend your evenings and weekends running around to various programs. You can spend quality time together as a family.
The enrichment programs are offered weekly while your child is at New Horizon Academy. We offer language, fitness, dance, and music programs which encourage children to explore, play, learn, and develop school-readiness skills.
New Horizon Academy partners with the most reputable organizations in the industry. Families contract directly with the outside company for these services. Please consult your director for a list of optional programs available at your school.
Before an enrichment program partner is permitted to enter a New Horizon Academy school, it is thoroughly vetted by our school operations team. All enrichment programs must meet state and local licensing requirements and perform requisite staff training. In addition, all staff members must undergo and pass background checks.
One World Spanish offers customized Spanish immersion programs for children of all levels. They lead a wide range of activities to engage your child in Spanish including music, games, storytelling, and art projects. (Offered in select Minnesota Schools) View Website
O’Neill Language Academy (OLA) is a family owned and operated school that began in 1991. OLA’s goal is to make Spanish fun for toddlers and preschoolers as well as practical to everyday life. Karate Zoon is a year-round program designed to teach the fundamentals of martial arts in a high-energy progression-based program. Soccer Shots is a nationally recognized, engaging children’s soccer program with a focus on character development. Soccer Stars is a popular children’s soccer program for ages 1 to 12+. Their goal is to help children improve their gross motor and soccer skills. Their coaches create a fun, non-competitive, and educational environment to ensure children develop self-confidence and physical literacy in every class. Our classes provide children, ages 16 months and older, with constant positive feedback as they progress through circuits featuring the same equipment found in a preschool gym. All classes emphasize movement education as a springboard for developing the physical, mental, and social skills necessary for success in gymnastics and beyond. TGA’s fun and engaging programs uniquely combine athletic skill development, academic learning, and life lessons. The program includes tennis, golf, pickleball, and athletics, and is designed to develop the whole person & player. Tippi Toes® dance classes will teach the basics of dance in a positive, uplifting, and nurturing way.
