Rosemount, MN. – New Horizon Academy is ringing in the new year with a brand-new school in Rosemount, Minnesota!
The new childcare and early education facility, which opened on January 6th, is New Horizon Academy’s largest location to date, featuring a one-of-a-kind outdoor sport court exclusive to the Rosemount location. Each classroom, as well as the indoor and outdoor play areas, is thoughtfully designed to enhance learning while ensuring the safety of every child.

The new school is located at 2730 149th Street West and is ready to enroll children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. Rosemount’s long-term director Kristi Gephart, formerly with New Horizon Academy’s Eagan location, is available to assist families and offer tours of the newly constructed facility.

Since opening in January 2024, our dedicated teachers and early childhood professionals have been committed to providing high-quality daycare and preschool programs for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. We are conveniently located on the corner of 119th Street and Quivira Road, primarily serving families in Overland Park and Johnson County. I can’t say enough wonderful things about New Horizon Academy in Overland Park! From the moment we walked in, we felt like family. The staff is incredibly warm, caring, and attentive. Our daughter has been attending New Horizon Academy Overland Park since it opened, and we love it here! The facility is always clean and well-organized, with a variety of engaging activities to keep the kids entertained and learning. They have numerous outdoor and indoor play areas as well, allowing the kids to change environments throughout the day. Communication is great; they provide updates and pictures all day, so as a parent, you don’t feel like you’re missing a thing! I also appreciate that they work with us on coordinating care regarding developmental milestones. I’ve recommended this daycare to multiple families!
We love New Horizon Academy and so does our little boy! Every day as we are pulling into the parking lot, he says, “I love my school!”. The facility is beautiful and clean, and the staff is caring and well-trained. Amazing childcare center! All staff are caring, knowledgeable, and supportive. My daughter has been going to the Overland Park location since it opened and we could not be any happier.
