New Horizon Academy – Land O’Lakes is located conveniently in Arden Hills, Minnesota on the Land O’Lakes campus off I-694 and Lexington Avenue. We proudly serve as Land O’Lakes’ corporate-sponsored childcare center, while also welcoming families from the public! We have been serving families in Arden Hills, Shoreview, North Oaks, Vadnais Heights, Little Canada, and New Brighton with quality childcare and early education services since 2018. Our school has two infant daycare rooms, two toddler daycare rooms, and three preschool and pre-kindergarten rooms. At our Arden Hills childcare, we use a comprehensive curriculum that includes character development, STEAM, literacy, motor skills, and more, all with an emphasis on building confident and excited learners. Awards and Accolades
I asked our pre-k kiddos what they would say about me to help write my bio, and this is what I discovered about myself: “I like to wear pretty dresses. I’m kind of the boss of the school, a little bit. I like to take care of people. And since I’m the boss of the school and Sarah is also the boss of the school, Sarah can be my best friend.” If I were to write about what I enjoy outside of work, my bio would say that I enjoy spending time with my family. We spend lots of time at sporting events, both indoors and outdoors. When we’re not involved in sports, we enjoy going for walks, baking, and playing games. Living in Minnesota, each season brings plenty of fun outdoor activities.

What do you like about early childhood?
I enjoy that every day in early childhood is different from the one before, making each day a new adventure. I love forming relationships and making connections with children, families, and our school family. There is nothing more rewarding that helping a child learn a new skill and seeing the joy on their face when they realize what they can accomplish. Children also say the most amazing things; being so honest and literal, you can’t help but smile!
What makes your school unique?
Our school is unique because we are located on the campus of Land O’Lakes Corporate Headquarters. Our relationship with Land O’Lakes creates an extended family environment that feels like home. This relationship also comes with additional amenities and events. We thrive on connection, growth, learning, and fun. Our dedicated teachers form loving relationships and encourage daily communication through face-to-face conversations, updates via Procare, emails, conferences, and special activities. We have a beautiful school where lots of love is shared.
What is your favorite children’s book?

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, taking naps, figure skating, and spending time with my niece and nephew. I also enjoy traveling, and one of my dreams is to be a spectator at the Olympics one day. My favorite way that a child has ever described me is as “that other mayor!”

What do you like about early childhood?
I love watching the children learn and grow, and I enjoy hearing all the cute and silly things they say. Being able to see the progression of their growth during the time they’re here with us is an amazing experience.
What makes your school unique?
We strive to build strong relationships with our families, children, and staff to create a sense of community within our school. We love the people we spend our days with and want everyone who comes into our school to share in that joy as well!

We are beyond grateful to have on-site daycare at work, making it possible to balance careers and parenthood while knowing our little one is safe, happy, and learning alongside us.
We love the staff and teachers at New Horizon Academy! My youngest was not an easy baby but the staff knew just what to do and how to care for her. She loves going to school and looks forward to seeing her teachers every day.
Our kids absolutely love the staff and getting to be with their friends at daycare! It is reassuring to know they are being so well taken care of, and having fun and learning in the process. They enjoy tons of outdoor activities, are given balanced meals, and parents get photos and updates throughout the day. The school also offers extra activities like Spanish, gymnastics, music, and soccer. It is a well run daycare and learning center.
This is an outstanding daycare center. Our experience has been everything we could have hoped for and more. From the infant room to the toddler room, the staff have been compassionate, kind, and nurturing. They are also communicative and just genuinely helpful and nice people. The indoor and outdoor spaces are lovely, clean, and safe. I cannot recommend Land O’Lakes New Horizon Academy highly enough. If you can get a spot here, take it!
