Thankful Turkey Kid’s Craft

Thankful turkey craft

Thanksgiving is a time to be extra thankful for the things most important to us. We at New Horizon Academy are so thankful for each of our families and staff. We have put together a thankful turkey craft for you and your child to create together. This is a great activity to help teach your child about thankfulness and gratitude.

How to Make a Thankful Turkey

Supplies Needed

  • Construction Paper
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Googly Eyes
  • Markers

  1. Cut out shapes for the body of the turkey and feathers.
  2. Write what you are thankful for on each of the turkey’s feathers.
  3. Glue the feathers to the body of the turkey.
  4. Glue 2 googly eyes and a shape in the form of a beak to the turkey’s head.
