The Lakeville, MN New Horizon Academy is conveniently located off of Cedar Avenue, 175th Street West and Dodd Boulevard. Our newly renovated Lakeville daycare opened in 2007, is accredited by the National Association for Young Children, and holds a four-star rating from Minnesota Parent Aware. Our Lakeville childcare center has one infant daycare rooms, two toddler daycare rooms, and four preschool and pre-kindergarten rooms. All of our childcare classrooms use an age-appropriate curriculum, which incorporates reading, STEAM, social-emotional learning, and more. Our Lakeville daycare center is open Monday-Friday every day with the exception of nine holidays:
*On Christmas Eve, New Horizon Academy closes at 3:00 p.m.
*If one of these holidays falls on a weekend, it will be observed on either Friday or Monday.
Yes! At New Horizon Academy Lakeville (Dodd Road), we have an on-site cook trained in nutrition, USDA guidelines, and proper portions for young children. Our school provides nutritious and nourishing meals every day including breakfast, lunch, and snack. All meals are included in the cost of tuition.
If your child has a special nutritional need, a food allergy, or requires adaptation to our menu, please alert our school director, and we will partner with your family to create a suitable meal plan.

This is a wonderful daycare for our infant and preschooler! The staff is caring, and they develop great relationships with families. Communication is wonderful and they are more flexible with scheduling than any other daycare center we have used in the past.
