Welcome to our brand-new daycare and early learning center in Elkhorn, Nebraska! New Horizon Academy Elkhorn opened in May 2026 and has since been serving families in the Omaha area with quality childcare and education. Located conveniently off Dodge Road and 180th Street, learning programs are available for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years, including infant, toddler, preschool, and pre-kindergarten options. Each classroom utilizes a comprehensive curriculum incorporating STEAM, reading, social-emotional learning, motor development, school readiness, and more. Our school is in the process of obtaining NAEYC accreditation and is committed to meeting and exceeding the highest standards of education and care for your child. New Horizon Academy schools are open Monday-Friday every day with the exception of nine holidays:
*On Christmas Eve, New Horizon Academy closes at 3:00 p.m.
*If one of these holidays falls on a weekend, it will be observed on either Friday or Monday.
*Our school will remain open during inclement weather to ensure children still have access to quality childcare.
Yes! Our school will have an on-site cook trained in nutrition, USDA guidelines, and proper portions for young children. Our school will provide nutritious and nourishing meals every day including breakfast, lunch, and snack. All meals are included in the cost of tuition.
If your child has a special nutritional need, a food allergy, or requires adaptation to our menu, please alert our school director, and we will partner with your family to create a suitable meal plan.
