At New Horizon Academy, we have many practices designed to help children develop healthy self-esteem, which include:
- Infants – Babies enrolled in our program are always given choices. This promotes their emerging sense of self, and an understanding that they have control over their environment.
- Toddlers – Our toddler classrooms are designed especially to promote the emergence and mastery of self-help skills. A toddler’s pride in themselves in most evident when they can say "I did it myself!"
- Preschool and Pre-kindergarten – Our exclusive Creative Discoveries curriculum promotes the development of a preschooler’s emerging intellectual curiosity through the exploration of words, books, art materials, science experiments, math concepts, music, and many other activities. Children learn that they are bright, capable, and ready for success in school.
- School-age – Our Passport to Fun school-age learning program allows older children to grow intellectually and socially, further develop a sense of responsibility, and form lasting friendships.
